For a while, I've wondered what I would do if I were in a Patreon-like situation where I actually made some money based off The Animation Commentator as an IP. (As of this writing, no one has come to this page, and that's all right.) However, the thought has occurred to me that I could actually use some of the Locals money to save toward hiring animators for really short, yet high quality toons. That kind of vision is a LONG way from reality, but that's an idea going through my head as to why I would even want this kind of monetary setup. As my friend Sir TalksALot says, Make Entertaininment Entertaining Again. And in my case, Make Classic Animation Great Again, too. Perhaps that will give you something to consider as to whether you would like to hop aboard and help fund that kind of small project with just the monthly contributions. Supporters would have first access to the toons in that hypothetical situation. Again, this is just an idea. Any future success depends on how many climb aboard, and there are no guarantees.
