This page is for Classic Animation enthusiasts. If you don't mind some dunking on CalArts and hating on that abominable Adventure Time, you may just enjoy yourself. Let's bring back the kind of animation that Disney used to make decades ago. #MakeClassicAnimationGreatAgain

The Love Story of Aveline and Klingeon

In the land of Tesar, there is a beautiful ice Tesahorn named Aveline. She is blue and has the power to turn water into ice with her horn. She has seen many things in her lifetime. Which is a considerable lifetime, given that she's roughly a century old and still as vigorous as when she was a foal. Her first human friend was a young lass named Leandra, and they had some adventures together, including a time when Leandra was put under a spell. Leandra eventually disappears with her husband without a trace, leaving Aveline very much alone.

Some decades later, Sir Persevere (originally named Nicolas Laudenbach) is born into the world. A white healer Tesahorn named Klingeon is likewise born around the same time. Klingeon has the power to heal people as well as drain life essence with his horn. The two of them grow up and play together as lad and foal. When they grow up, the wizard known as Count Doom begins his assault on the free Republic of Tesar to bring back the archaic monarchy his fathers inflicted thousands of years ago. Nicolas, along with six other people, are transformed into impressive warriors by miraculous prophetic dragon rituals. Now Sir Persevere, Nicolas rides to war on Klingeon.

In the course of this war, Klingeon and Aveline meet after Klingeon suffered some deep personal loss. The two of them fall in love throughout the course of several months, and in the end, they eloped. This romance is somewhat frowned upon by the other Tesahorns, who are more or less used to marrying their own color (there are blue, red, yellow, and white Tesahorns, all told). Traditionally, a Tesahorn marries into the tribe of his/her birth and stays there. When Aveline and Klingeon married during the height of the war against Count Doom, they were granted visiting privileges to their families, but they would have to start their own tribe. Sir Persevere, thinking this tribalist Tesahorn tradition is silly, invites Klingeon and Aveline to stay at his home whenever they need a place to rest their hooves. Decades after the war, Aveline and Klingeon find a small tribe of Tesahorns who likewise broke tradition and live with them there. The two of them produce many children together. Their sons are blue ice Tesahorns like their mother, and their daughters are white healer Tesahorns like their father. Aveline and Klingeon enjoy many years together spanning centuries. And that is one aspect of their love story.
